Announcing bpftop: Streamlining eBPF performance optimization
Netflix has released bpftop, a command-line tool for monitoring and optimizing eBPF programs. It provides real-time insights into program performance, simplifies optimization efforts, and features time series graphing. bpftop gathers statistics using BPF_ENABLE_STATS syscall, displaying them in a tabular format or graph. It's written in Rust, open-sourced under the Apache 2 license, and available on GitHub for community contributions.
